He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Dean and Thelma Houck Lawrence. He is survived by: his children, Morgan Lawrence of Bunn, NC and Zach Lawrence of West Jefferson; and his siblings, David Lawrence (Judy) of Wilkesboro, Talmage Lawrence (Marianne) of West Jefferson, Brenda Shepherd (Bob) of Asheville, Dianne Little (Steve) of Harrisonburg, VA, Christine Osborne (Steve) of North Wilkesboro and Tammy Vannoy of West Jefferson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
