He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Watson and Iris Watson; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Watson, Lavern Watson and Jack Watson.
He is survived by: his sons, Tyler Watson of Oakboro, Chase Watson (Crystal) of Oakboro and Keegan Watson (Melanie) of North Wilkesboro; his brothers, Dean Watson (Shirley) of Fleetwood and Tom Watson (Joyce) of Zionville; and his granddaughters, Kayden Qualls and Hazel Watson.
