It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Woodie Sheets of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Woodie and Ethel Woodie; her former husband Johnnie Lee Church; and also, Ricky, Linda, Quincy, Junior, Vance, Glenn, Clyde, Doug Woodie and Virginia Dare Woodie.
She is survived by: her husband Hobert Wayne Sheets; her daughter Kathy Ann Church of West Jefferson; her grandchildren, Johnny Shatley Jr. (Kristen) and Stacey Lincoln (Wesley); her great grandchildren, Jacob Lincoln, Carson Shatley and Waylon Lincoln; and her brother Kenny Woodie (Ann) of West Jefferson.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in West Jefferson.
