She was predeceased by: her parent Willie D. Blevins; her husband Dewitt Stansberry; her son Dennis Stansberry; and her siblings, Don Blevins, Ann Thurston, Agnes Yates and Gay Funk.
She is survived by: her children, Dann Stansberry of West Jefferson, Gail Stansberry of Lansing and Deborah Brown (Barry) of North Wilkesboro; her daughter-in-law Leona Stansberry of Yadkinville; and her sisters, Sylvia Spencer of Lansing and Kaye Faw of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
