He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Haire and Pauline Jackson Haire; and his former wife Nancye Smathers Haire. He is survived by: his wife Connie M. Haire; his brother Earle R. Haire (Patricia); and his children, Phillip Haire (Ann), Scott Haire (Sharon), Tate Haire (Jenny) and Anne Collins. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
