It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mullis of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Mullis; and his brothers, Billy and Jerry "Pedro" Mullis. He is survived by: his wife Rita Trivette Mullis; his daughter Shannon Farmer (Robbie) of Creston; his stepdaughter Teresa Houck Hansen of Fleetwood; his sisters, Linda Mullis of West Jefferson and Shirley Tincher of Denton; and his grandchildren, Austin Miller, Brooke Matkins, Mickey Lewis, Torin Hansen, Autumn Farmer, Summer Farmer and Tyler Farmer. He is also survived by 1 great-grandchild, Several nieces and nephews.
