He is survived by: his children, Joshua Day of Jefferson, Kaleb Day of West Jefferson, Amanda Day of West Jefferson, Seirra Day of Jefferson and Angela Day of Taylorsville; his brothers, Curt Day of Laurel Springs and Steve Day (Anissa) of Crumpler; and his grandchildren, Chloe Carpenter, Sophia Carpenter, Mason Carpenter, Desmond Day and Wyatt Bullis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
