He is survived by: his friend Greatly; his wife Sophia Turnmire; his children, Jeff Turnmire (Nancy) of Crumpler and Jennifer Simcox (Dale) of West Jefferson; his siblings, Shirley Dixon of Sparta, Patsy Walton of Warrensville, Hazel Hopkins (Roy) of Crumpler, Howard Turnmire (Kathleen) of Warrensville and Jim Turnmire (Gail) of West Jefferson; and his grandchildren, Tierra Turnmire Clawson, Khela Turnmire, Matt Turnmire and Cody Simcox. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
