We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2021, at the age of 101, Nell Baldwin of West Jefferson, North Carolina, born in Fairfax, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wallace Cross and Eunice Madeline Allder Cross; her husband Ed Lincoln Baldwin; her sons, Harold and Edward Baldwin; and her grandchildren, Sandra Poe and Daniel Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Baldwin of Lansing, Jean Key of Lansing, Mildred Blevins (Sherman) of Greensboro, Linda Stevens of Brown Summit, Darlene Griffitts of Lansing, Lois Ham (Kenny) of West Jefferson and Beverly Poe (Edward) of Todd; her grandchildren, William Baldwin, Lisa Baldwin Reed, Karen Key Miller, Jeff, Mitchell Key, Bobby, Mike, Susan, Kim Baldwin, John Baldwin, Kelly Baldwin Ashley, John Blevins, Mary McMillian, Tammy Cassell, Robin, Jim Stevens, Eugene Barker, Crystal Walker and James Poe; her great grandchildren, Mason, Sawyer Baldwin, Sara, Suzi McNeil, Alicia, Kristen Miller, Kaley, Morgan, Meredyth, Holden Key, Megan Baldwin, Chase, Coleman Baldwin, Chloe, Cody Ashley, Adrianne Blevins, Chance Cassell, Bryce, Braden McMillian, Tony Rodriquez, Dylan, Drew Stevens, Bailey Barker, Sami Barker Hooper, Emma, Brooklyn Poe, Caleb, Connor Walker and Michael Poe; her close friend Kathleen Keaton of Lansing; and also Vanessa Dishman. She is also survived by 8 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
