She was predeceased by: her parents, John Padgett and Corra Smith Padgett; and her husband Fred William Blevins. She is survived by: her children, William Dean Blevins of West Jefferson, Linda Kaye Grubb of West Jefferson, Carrol Joyce Cratchfield of Spotsylvania, VA and Nancy Carolyn Jones of Sylva, NC.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
