With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Minnie Wood Lemly (West Jefferson, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Wood and Eunice Goodman Wood; her husband Richard Waugh Lemly; and her brothers, Charles Wood, Bill Wood and Larry Wood.
She is survived by: her children, James Lemly (Vicki), Fred Lemly (Sandy), Keith Lemly (Michele), Carolyn Moser (John), Evelyn Lemly and Ellen Church (Cline); her sister Annie Brown; her sister-in-law Ailene Young; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Lemly (Angela), Devon Houck (Ryan), Richard Moser (Denise), Martie Firebaugh (Joe), Holly McClure (Craig), Wilson Lemly (Jodie), Amber Scott (Josh), Alex Church (Ashley), Tatum Lemly (Yasmin) and Hannah Dighton (John). She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
