He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Goss and Viller Miller Goss; and his siblings, Nina Long, Wave Woodie and Bernard Goss Mr.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Severt Goss; his children, Terry Goss (Melissa) of West Jefferson and Kim Goss Arnett (Rick) of Wilkesboro; his sisters, Ruth Patrick of Crumpler, Patsy Perkins of Warrensville, Mable Coleman of Jefferson and Ruby Goss of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Andy Cheek (Liz) of West Jefferson, Ben Cheek (Dawn Mathis) of Laurel Springs, Luke Goss (Caroline) of Jefferson, Kole Goss (McKenzie) of West Jefferson and Jed Goss of West Jefferson; and his great grandchildren, Gage Cheek, Josie Cheek, Emmi Cheek and Drew Cheek. He is also survived by great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
