She was predeceased by: her parent Doughton; her husband Arvil Severt; and her brothers, Doughton "Bud" Sheets, Carl Sheets, Dean Sheets and Coy Sheets.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Price of West Jefferson and Peggy Blevins of West Jefferson; her grandsons, Chad Patrick and Brandon Patrick; her brothers, Hobert Sheets of Watauga, Fred Sheets of Lenoir and Cecil Sheets of Jefferson; and her caregiver Kaylie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
