He is survived by: his parents, Ann Houck Kerr of West Jefferson, NC. and Dwight Kerr; his sister Melissa Maines (Barry "Tater") of Laurel Springs, NC; his nephew Mitchell Maines of Laurel Springs, NC; his uncles, Don Houck (Brenda) of West Jefferson and Luke Ritter; and his cousins, Wallace Houck of West Jefferson, NC, Greg Houck of Durham, NC and Amy Walker of Wytheville, VA..
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2005 Mt Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
