She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Lawrence and Sarah Katherine Staker Lawrence; and her sons, Robbie Church and Gale Dean Howell, III (Trey). She is survived by: her husband Gale Dean Howell, Jr.; her children, Michael Howell of West Jefferson and Michelle Brooks of Lansing; and her siblings, Jimmy Lawrence of Crumpler, Tammy Adams of Jefferson and Lisa Frye. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
