She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Franklin Day and Ola Marie Elliott Day; her husband Lillard Turner; her son Randy Turner; and her siblings, Worth Day, Harold Day and Linda Harrison.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Martha Turner of Jefferson; her daughter Regina Brown (Mike) of Clayton, NC; her grandchildren, Laura Turner of Jefferson, Stephanie Carroll of Clayton, NC and William Brown of Clayton, NC; and her siblings, Roger Day of West Jefferson, NC, Lloyd Day of West Jefferson, NC, Danny Day of West Jefferson, NC, Donna Day of Marion, Phyllis Kimbell of West Jefferson, NC and Barbara Mitzel of West Jefferson, NC. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews.
