He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Elbert; and his siblings, Norris Greer and Linda Barker. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Brinegar Greer; his sons, James Greer (Susan) of Jefferson, Jeff Greer (Penney) of Fuquay Varina, Josh Greer (Stacy) of West Jefferson, Jerome Greer (Jennifer) of West Jefferson and Jonah Greer (Olga) of West Jefferson; his grandchildren, Taylor Osowitt, Brooke Pickett (Kaheem), Savannah Greer, Sierra Greer, Sheyenne Greer, Arianna Greer, Krislyn Greer, Ethan Greer, Kent Manaloto and Kyleigh Greer; his great grandchildren, Xavier and Addalie Pickett; and his siblings, Norman Greer of Fleetwood, Allen Greer of Tulsa, OK, Archie Greer of West Jefferson and Louise Roland of Warrensville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
