It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Faye Norton of West Jefferson, North Carolina, born in Brunswick, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Coleman; her husband J. C. Norton; her daughter Julie Dale Wood; her siblings, Nicky, Charles Coleman and Lois Kotler; and her grandson Austin Ring.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Rash of West Jefferson, Lori Ring (Tim) of Monroe, John Norton of Wilmington and Wallace Pearson of Wilkesboro; and her niece Keli Kotler. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
