It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Sheets Moretz of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glen Sheets and Ollie Gilley Sheets; her brother Johnny Dale Sheets; her husband Bobby Moretz; her children, Robbie Moretz of Knoxville, TN, Brady Moretz of West Jefferson, Jonathon Taylor (Lauren) of Boone, Kaila Moretz (Jeremy) of Lansing and Melissa Moretz (Paul) of Jefferson; and her sister Judy Powers of Lansing. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
