He is survived by: his children, Belinda Severt Bowlin (Robert Bowlin) of Laurel Springs and Timothy John Severt (Dawn Hendricks Severt) of Atlanta, Georgia; his sister Ruth Royall of West Jefferson; his grandchildren, Johnathan Bowlin of Greensboro and Julie Bowlin Hoots (Chris Hoots) of High Point; and his great grandchild Hailey Ann Hoots.
