With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lee Reavis of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Henry and Irene Fannie Huggins Reavis; his spouse Helemarie Zieminski Reavis of West Jefferson; his children, Madeline Mehaffy (Jack) of Claremont, Hank Reavis (Donna) of Statesville, Clark Reavis (Gina) of West Jefferson and Chuck Reavis (Mechille) of Asheville; his brother Richard Reavis (Beth) of Statesville; and his stepsons, Justin Otto (Shilohe) of Boone, Michael DiCarlo (Elizabeth) of New Jersey and Billy DiCarlo (Leighann). He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
The family has requested no flowers. Memorials may be made to Helemarie Reavis, 511 Hidden Springs, West Jefferson, NC 28694 to help with medical expenses.
