He is survived by: his children, Michelle Blevins (Jody) of West Jefferson, Jim Hampton (Sue) of Ormond Beach, FL and Scott Hampton of Locust Grove, VA; and his grandsons, Bradley James Hampton of Virginia, Trevor Hampton of Virginia and Nash Hampton of Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
