He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Clifford" and Chessie Marie Brown Kemp. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Bare Kemp; his siblings-in-law, Benny Bare (Janet) of West Jefferson and Rachel Craven (Roy) of Jefferson; and his close friend Mable Segraves of West Jefferson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
