She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Franklin Gentry; her husband John Wade Stevens; her children, Jerry Stevens, John Wade Stevens Jr., Jimmy Darrell Stevens and Alecia Kay Stevens Hayworth; her brothers, George Terrill Gentry, John Dallas Gentry and Joseph Curtis Gentry; and her grandson Joshua Clay Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Stevens of West Jefferson and Karen McMillian of Jefferson; and her sister Wanda Evelyn Jones of Kernersville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
