He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Miller and Margaret Shepherd Miller; his wife Della Faye Taylor Miller; and his siblings, Gilbert, Buster Miller, Pansy Jones, Retha Privette, Mae Parsons and Rebecca Blevins.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Miller of Boone, Randy Miller (Debbie) of West Jefferson, Rodney Miller of West Jefferson, Judy Hatley of Salisbury and Sandra Dillard (Clarence) of West Jefferson; and his siblings, Grant Miller of Charlotte and Ruth Madley of High Point. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
