It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Ruth Stevens of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Glen George Dickson; and her husband Scott Dewayne Stevens. She is survived by: her children, Terry Jones of Jefferson, Shannon Stevens of West Jefferson and Lisa Jones of West Jefferson; her mother Ruth Dickson of West Jefferson; her siblings, Rick Dickson (Chris), Nancy Freeman (Steve) of Montana and Ella DePriest (Al) of West Jefferson; her grandson Trevor Shatley (Rachel) of West Jefferson; and her great grandchild Hudson Shatley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
