He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Jordan and Bertha Elizabeth Elliott Jordan; and his brother Ray Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Lewis Jordan; his children, Tony Jordan of Crumpler, Teddy Jordan (Cindy) of West Jefferson and Teri Sponholz (Gary) of Chesapeake, VA; his sisters, Louise Reedy of Hickory, Patricia Pennington of Mountain City, TN and Ruby Bledsoe of Fleetwood; his grandchildren, Kayla, Ethan, Rachel, Phillip, Michael, Alesia, John, Jason, Kristin and Joshua; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Amelia, Ezra, Ryan, Van, Zoey and Aria. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
