She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Mahala and Vainy Greer Mahala; her husband Robert Lewis; her son Eugene Lewis; and her siblings, Pauline Roark, Walt, Vernon and Clarence Mahala.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Lewis of West Jefferson; her siblings, Madeline Parsons of Mountain City, TN, Fred of Shady Valley, TN, Roy of Shady Valley, TN, Billy Joe Mahala of Shady Valley, TN and John Mahala of Stony Creek, TN; her grandchildren, B. J. Lewis (Valerie) and Wendy Lewis (Christopher); and her great grandchildren, Cicero Lewis, Theryn Lewis, Emmy Lewis and Oakie James. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
