He was predeceased by: his father Edward "Ed" Foster; and his siblings, Allen K. Taylor and Colleen Taylor Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Jean Grogan Taylor; his children, Greg Taylor (Rachel) of Boone and Robin Miller (Brandon) of Warrensville; his stepdaughters, Brenda Everhart (Sam) of Lexington and Teresa Goodman (Greg) of West Jefferson; his brother Ron Taylor (Angie) of West Jefferson; his grandson Wesley Barker of Carrboro, NC; and his stepgrandson Tanner Goodman of West Jefferson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
