She is survived by: her spouse Pat Byers; her son Rodney Lamont Byers of Jefferson, NC.; her aunt Greta Long of Ettrick, VA; her siblings-in-law, Odessa Long of Crumpler, Thelma Long of Winston-Salem, NC, Eddie Byers of Jefferson, NC, Michael Byers and Doug Byers; her nephew Brett Long of Winston-Salem, NC; her great-nieces, Kayana and Alexis Wray of Charlotte, NC.; and her caregivers, Drusilla Michaux, Allison Marie and Chloe. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends.
