She is survived by: her husband Jeff Day; her daughter Hedi Peterson (James); her stepsons, Brandon Day (Jodi) of Wilkesboro and Shawn Day of Jefferson; and her brothers, Rex Cummings, Jeff Cummings and Johnny Cummings of West Jefferson. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
