With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra Jean Clay of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton Lee Clay and Virginia Talbott Clay; and her siblings, Penny Ingram, Willie Clay, Roger Seamster, Steve Seamster, David Clay and Ronald.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Victor Padilla; her daughter Amanda Brightwell (Curtis); her grandchildren, Curtis W, Preslee D and Milton J.; her siblings, Dennis Clay (Wendy) of Halifax, Virginia, Donald Clay (Tammy) of Halifax, Virginia, Danny Clay of Halifax, Virginia, Ida Seamster of Halifax and Dorothy Horta of Brookneal; and her niece-in-law Jess (Barbara). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
