With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Baldwin of West Jefferson, North Carolina, born in Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darrell Baldwin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Richard and Zola Mae Howell Baldwin; his siblings, Roy Lee Baldwin, Kenneth Baldwin and Peggy Ann Gaither; and his daughter-in-law Terresa Smith Baldwin.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Howell Baldwin; his children, Greg Baldwin of Lansing, Curtis Baldwin (Scott) of West Jefferson and Margaret Richardson (Rick) of Lansing; his brother Buddy C. Baldwin of Statesville; his grandchildren, Natasha Goodman (Andy) of Fleetwood, Candace Richardson of Glendale Springs and Tyler Richardson (Serena) of Lansing; his stepgranddaughter Bethany Brewer of Lansing; and his great grandchildren, Brooke, Chloe, Ethan, Cierra, Kylie, Madie, Katy and Hazel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2005 Mt Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
