She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Jones; her husband Harvey Hodgson; her daughter Margaret "Sue" Brooks; and her siblings, Virgie Harless, Minnie Lewis, Lois Sheets, Hazel Gilbert, Rev. Earl Jones and James Jones.
She is survived by: her brother Clyde Jones of West Jefferson; her granddaughter Tanya "Dawn" Mayberry (David) of West Jefferson; her great grandchild Lilliana Mayberry of West Jefferson; and her close friend Mildred Brooks of West Jefferson.
