With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Gentry Houck of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on June 21, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Gentry and Paralea Brown Toliver; and her husband James Ervin Houck. She is survived by: her children, Willie Houck (Mary) of Granite Falls and Donna Coldiron; her siblings, Jackie Gentry (Linda) and Ann Phipps (Bill) of Fleetwood; her grandchildren, Chad Coldiron, Eric Coldiron, Matthew Houck, Makala Houck and Holly Hodges Faircloth; and her great grandchildren, Bella Coldiron, Adam Coldiron, Nicholas Coldiron, Corbin Coldiron, Brandon Fox, Carter Huffman, Cayden Holloway and William Holloway.
