She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Nelson Ball and Gladys Mamie Hartzog Ball; and her sisters, Willa Mae Campbell (Gwyn) and Margaret Ruth Lunsford (MA). She is survived by: her husband Howard Lewis Combs; her children, Amy Combs (Scott Cooper) and Nolan Combs (Nancy Combs); and her grandchildren, Worth James Combs and Sara Clare Combs. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Jefferson United Methodist Church (107 W 2nd St, West Jefferson, NC 28694).
