She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jennings West Sr. and Louise Ellington West; and her brother George Jennings West Jr. of Richmond, VA.. She is survived by: her children, Richard Roe Jr. (Rick), Kelly Roe Southards (Todd) of High Point, NC, George Roe of Lansing and Jenni Roe Elliott (Terry) of West Jefferson; her grandchildren, Pamela Roe Marsh, Sloan Elliott Goodman (Caleb), Holden Southards and Gabriel Elliott (Mikayla); her great grandchild Silas Goodman; her sisters-in-law, Jackie West Yates of New Kent, VA. and Martha Roe Goss of Lansing; her aunt Billie Ellington Showers of Chesapeake, VA.; her husband Richard Painter Roe Sr.; and her children, Westie and JJ.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Creekside Christian Church (formerly Helton United Methodist). Donations given to Generations of Ashe (Ashe Services for Aging).
