He is survived by: his brother Bill (Clara); his nieces and nephews, Tim of West End and Lauren Palmerton (Bill) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Ryan Bailey (LeAnn), Jared Bailey (Melissa), Bethany, Elise and William Aidan Palmerton; his great grandchild Addie Bailey; and his siblings, Carolyn Lea (Jimmy) of West End and Lester Bailey of Carthage.
