He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Harper and Christine Robinson Harper; and his brother Dennis Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Della Harper; his sons, Richard "Rick" Harper (Renee) and Michael Harper (Donna); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Harper Dunn, Brooke Harper, Jesse Harper, Kyleigh Hardison, Silas Dunn and Charley Mae Dunn; and his aunts, Eva Harper and Vivian Harper.
