He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Collins and Annie Jane Collins; his wife Ethel Collins; his siblings, Marguree Garner Bullitt, Betty Richardson, Mary Bullard, Prentice Patterson, Buck Collins and Roy Collins; and his grandson Jason Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Crissman (Rocky) of Pittsboro, Kenneth Collins of Carthage and Hyla Fraizer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his stepdaughters, Barbara Sue Maness (Ricky), Charlotte Vest (Tony) and Lisa Beal (Martin); and his brother Waylon Collins (Johnsie) of Carthage. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
