She is survived by: her children, Tracy Michelle McMillian of Rockingham and Jim Van Strait, II of Troy; and her sisters, Leeola Curry of Candor and Diana Nyguen of Charlotte. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
