He was predeceased by: his parents, Beecher P. Chappell and Eula H. Chappell. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Sutton; his daughters, Susan and Tricia (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Hunter, Leah and Delaney; and his brother Jimmy Chappell (Ann).
Due to COVID, a private service will be held with Reverend Brett Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Galatia Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
