She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Dzomba and Ruth Meyer Dzomba; her husband Robert Dean Swain; and her sister Karen Dzomba. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Shipley of Parma, OH and Carol Gene Albert of West End; and her sister Gail Lang of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (1572 Carthage Rd, West End, NC 27376). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Doub's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
