He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Paschal and Rosa Patterson Rogers; and his brothers, William, Thomas and Rayon Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Cary A. Rogers of Monroe and Lisa R. Smith (Michael) of Waxhaw; his siblings, Carolyn Hughes of Carthage, Mary Brumfield of Delbarton, WV and Wilbur Rogers of Mt. Gilead; and his grandchildren, Caris Rogers and Colson Smith.
