He was predeceased by: his parents, S. A. Nathan and Hattie Mae Nathan; and his son Robert "Bob" Nathan. He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy; and his daughter Pat Nathan-Groves (Mervyn). He is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
