He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurney Schrontz and Dorothy Kraiger Schrontz; his son Gregory Schrontz; and his siblings, Wally Schrontz and Alice Lou Schrontz.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Williams Schrontz; his daughter Cindi Hall (David) of Southern Pines; his grandchildren, Heather (Mike), Jacob (Colby) and Daniel (Nelle); and his great grandchildren, Isabelle and Lucy Jane.
