She was predeceased by: her parent George Washington; and her husband Donald M. Shipley. She is survived by: her parent Claudia Hoover Hedrick; her daughters, Joyce Shipley Harris (Bill) of West End, NC and Carol Shipley (Richard) of Bluffton, SC; her grandchildren, Gray Harris of Durham, NC, Heather Tipton of Jamestown, NC and Carrie Bull of Salem, OR; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Nicholas and Elizabeth.
