She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert H Garrison, Sr. and Mittie Ethel Garrison; her husband Rev. William "Bill" Hobert Shamblin, Sr.; her daughter Deborah Jean Hansel; her siblings, Betty, Clara Jean, Dorothy, William of Ira, A. H., James, Richard, Ralph and Bruce; and her great grandchild Lance William Lancaster.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen McCarty of West End, William H. Shamblin, Jr. of West End and Paul Shamblin of West End; her brother Fred Garrison; her grandchildren, Robin Lancaster (Lance) of Nevada and John Shamblin of West End; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Levesque (Jordan), Tyler, Chase, Evin and Faith.
