He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert William "Bill" Boles and Viola "Vi" Valenti Boles; his sister Teresa Boles; and his granddaughter Shelby Marie Livengood. He is survived by: his wife Juanita "Little Bit" Boles; his children, Wendy Bodsford (Jeff) of West End, Jeanette Chisholm (John) of West End, Candace Wicker (Aaron) of West End and Gene Boles, Jr. (Melissa) of Vass; his grandchildren, Travis Livengood (Morgan), Haley, Logan Bodsford, Wyatt Chisholm Katelyn Chisholm (Paige Garner), Riley, Allie Wicker, Madison, Matthew Boles and Danny Blinkmann; his great grandchildren, Tatum and Owen Livengood; and his siblings, Rupert William Boles Jr., Nancy Valenti of Southern Pines and Sheila Boles (Michael Boles) of Pinehurst.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, Chris Martin Scholarship fund.
