Farmer of West End, North Carolina, born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert and Franklin; and his grandson Matthew Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Betty Kay Lewis; his children, James (Andrea), Donald (Glenda), Dale and Pamela Stegemoller (Daniel); and his siblings, Philip Farmer of Wilson, NC, Patricia Moore of Raleigh, NC and Karen Troutman (Jerry) of Fayetteville, NC.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Donald's name to either Lightways Hospice or to Grundy County Health Department Prime Fund (Substance Abuse Program).
